3D Mechanical Designer

Description Individual will work as a member of mechanical design team to complete selected 3D computer aided design (CAD) tasks related to the design of capital equipment and the execution of projects for the water treatment industry.
Responsibilities will require transforming initial rough designs into working drawings with an emphasis on speed and accuracy.

Requirements
Associate degree in drafting and design from an accredited
institution or Completion of a certified drafting training
program
A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Primary experience in machine design, metals fabrication, and
materials
Familiarity with manufacturing capital equipment preferred
Experience in preparation of P&ID drawings is a plus
Proficient with AutoCad and 3-D modeling, preferably Inventor
Good written and oral communication skills
Must be able to multitask
Must posses the ability to work independently
Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbout Hudson Engineering
