BASIC PURPOSE:
Assure safe operating procedures and conditions are maintanined throughout the Cobalt Chemical department.
Assist manufacturing personnel in process/equipment problem solving.
Maintain an effective cost reduction program vis process/product modification and development.
Design, justify, install, and debug new equipment and processes.
Design, modify, and install controll processes and systems.
Provide product technical assistance to sales and directly to customers.
Maintain product/process specifications and procedures.
Assist with and participate in maintaining ISO certification.
Support enterprise resource planning system by creating/maintaining Part Numbers/Bills of Material.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to communicate and work effectively with all manufacturing personnel. Should demonstrate the ability to logically approch and solve problems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
BS Degree in Chemical Engineering
Six Sigma experience a plus.
