Baker Atlas currently has an opening for an Applications Engineer/Advisor located at 2001 Rankin Road in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:
Advises sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues that affect the installation or sales of products and/or services of the organization. Provides support to operations and manufacturing across multiple product lines. May assist sales personnel in the preparation of bids. Meets with customers to develop and design products and services. May train customers and/or field personnel on new products. Handles special projects, as assigned.
Skill Requirements:
Broad, in-depth, specialized knowledge and seasoned experience in area of responsibility. Ability to solve substantially difficult problems of complex nature and broad scope. Technical expertise. Ability to create innovative approaches to problems.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree is required. Bachelor's in Engineering or Geology is preferred. 5+ years relevant experience in Operations/Engineering environment is required. Expertise in wireline logging and formation evaluation is required. Broad, in-depth, specialized knowledge and seasoned experience in marketing of these services. Ability to solve substantially difficult problems of complex nature and broad scope. Ability to create innovative approaches to problems.
