ASIC Digital Design Engineer

EWA Government Systems Inc. (EWA), Montpelier Vermont, has immediate openings for experienced digital ASIC Design Engineers to augment the core team that develops and implements a set of products in a mixed signal environment.  Typical duties for the design engineer include, developing and translating initial customer requirements into design specifications, mapping existing designs into new design rule specifications and technologies, adapting industry standard programs to generate and verify chip timing requirements, working on the design in any capacity (e.g. layout, modeling) with the design team to meet aggressive schedules, developing product test specifications, designing customized circuits not existing in library macros or cores to meet customer needs, employing industry standard programs for placement, auto routing and wiring, indentify key parameters and test for model and hardware verification, ensuring schedules are clearly communicated and deliverables are met, and establish appropriate test specifications for product functionality verification and delivery.

 

The EWA Vermont operation serves as a hub for ASIC applications, homeland defense oriented design and development, test and evaluation, and a host of other premium technical and engineering services.
