Position Summary:

The Adobe Sales Engineer is responsible for driving software license, maintenance & support, and consulting revenue working as part of a sales team.  The Sales Engineer partners with sales account managers to identify sales opportunities, position Adobe solutions, present applications, and demonstrate a value proposition.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

? Proficient with all of the applications in the Adobe Creative Suite

? Experience with Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Studio 8 applications

? Strong presentations skills

? Technical competence in Windows and Macintosh environments, graphic arts workflows, web design, and professional publishing

? Approximately 70% travel.  Candidates can be located anywhere in the U.S.

? Must be flexible with regard to learning new Applications.

 

The Adobe Sales Engineer performs the following set of tasks at a level commensurate with his or her experience within the company and the high technology industry:

Territory and Account Planning, Opportunity Qualification, Product Positioning, Product Integration, Technical Objection Handling, Competitive Threat Handling, and Maintaining Customer Relationships.
