Job Description:

Advanced MMIC Technology Analog/RF/Microwave Design Engineer

The employee will be an individual contributor on a highly dynamic advanced III-V microwave device and MMIC development team. Responsiblies include: 1) Execute/lead design of MMICs based on "novel" III-V devices; 2) perform DC/RF tests on novel devices and MMICs; and 3) Participate in proposal activities to generate new business opportunities. Successful candidate must be a "team player and interact with all level of the organization from leadership to technicians

Security Clearance:

Secret - Existing clearance NOT required.

Positions at Raytheon may require U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.

The ideal candidate will possess:

? Basic Skills:

Technical: Hands on experience in the design and DC/RF test of III-V microwave and/or millimeter devices and MMICs. Education: Masters of Science Degree Electrical Engineering

Experience can substitute for educational requirements.



? Desired Skills:



Technical: Semiconductor devices physics knowledge, Proficiency with design using CAD tools such as ADS, Cadence, Momentum, Sonnet, etc.; experience with the use of microwave linear and non-linear CAD tools; design experience on GaAS pHEMT MMIC power amplifiers and low noise amplifiers. Working knowledge of CADENCE tools for MMIC layout; Working familiarity with electromagnetic simulators for planar structures.Design experience on MMIC power amplifiers and low noise amplifiers. Education: Ph.D is a plus. Experience can substitute for educational requirements.
