Aircraft Avionics Engineer - Wilmington, OH (ILN)

BS degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.  Five years experience in airline engineering to include knowledge of aircraft wiring diagrams, aircraft mechanical/electrical systems, and aircraft avionics systems. 

 

Experience in developing certification packages for Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) including preparation of certification plans, certification data packages, instructions for continued airworthiness, ground testing plans, and flight testing plans.  Experience in integrating existing STC packages to new tail-number specific applications including the identification of minor deviations and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.

 

Familiarity with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Approved Flight Manuals, Pilot's Guides, Boeing engineering drawing formats and protocols, and MyBoeingFleet.com Project management experience in supervising a team of multiple-departmental Maintenance & Engineering personnel to ensure timely coordination of STC certification requirements including procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and certification.

 

Working knowledge and skill with MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Coral Draw, and other common software tools. Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations relevant to Part 121 airline operations and Part 145 Repair Station operations.
