Primary responsibilities include: Product development involving wide band low noise analog circuit design for innovative instrument development program. 

 

?Perform wide band (DC ? 500MHz), phase lock-in amplifiers, low input (1?V) linear circuit designs, development, test, evaluation and documentation.

?Perform primary digital logic circuit design.

?Perform designs of control system using industrial computer with DAQ, DIO add-on boards.

?Perform designs of control system using single board computer (SBC).

?Perform programming in C for SBC.

?Perform OrCad schematic drawing and PC Layout and design.

?Implement prototyping and testing of circuit elements and cards.

 

B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering, M.S. preferred. 5 + years experience in design and development.  Position requires experience in RF and high voltage design, analog circuit design, diode laser power supplies, transient detector amplifiers, CAD/PCB and hands-on electrical/mechanical prototyping skills.  USB, TCP/IP and RS232-488 knowledge/experience, and CPLD and FPGA knowledge/experience, strongly preferred.
