Job Description:

Raytheon Solipsys is experiencing tremendous growth and augmenting its multi-disciplined staff with the best and brightest talent available. Raytheon Solipsys has immediate need for an analyst to support our existing staff in the development and analysis of military combat, radar, and data fusion systems. The person in this position will also provide data analysis support for product release testing and system evaluation using the MATLAB computation environment and the DataDesk Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) package. This position is located in Laurel, Maryland. In this position, you will work with a team of senior analysts and engineers to:

Conduct engineering trade studies of potential algorithms by developing MATLAB models and evaluating model effectiveness using both simulated and recorded sensor data.
Perform EDA for case studies to evaluate both model and real-time system performance in support of the test and evaluation of Raytheon Solipsys products.
Create plots, graphs, and summaries of analysis results for reports and presentation materials and support program review and technical interchange meetings with the sponsor or customer.

Requirements and Qualifications:

MS in Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or related discipline with 0 - 3 years experience.
Familiarity with mathematical and statistical computing environments using PCs (MATLAB and/or DataDesk preferred).
Ability to document and communicate technical information.
This position requires applicants to be eligible for a US SECRET Security Clearance for access to classified information. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Positions at Solipsys may require U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.
