Responsibilities · Ability to maintain a safe working environment

? Hands-on experience with quality analysis and control of all measurement equipment in the laboratory

? Must know method development for analytical equipment; Gas Chromatographic (GCs), data verification and release

? Management of personnel time/work allocation, inventory, billing, equipment maintenance contracts

? Remains informed of all pilot plant activities and requirements

? Keeps abreast of technical information, related to analytical equipment in the laboratory and pilot plants; application and standard methods of the American Petroleum Institute (API) and American Standard Testing Methods (ASTM)

? Consults with project leads on experimental program, analytical methods and budget

QUALIFICATIONS:

? BS in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry (Masters/PhD degree preferred)

? Minimum 8 years PETROLEUM INDUSTRY experience in laboratory/analytical work

? Hands-on experience with GCs(Gas Chromatographic) and GC-MS required

? Ability to work independently; work with little supervision

? Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required Supervisory experience
