This engineer will lead the Power Gen Application Support effort for a range of Generator-Drive engines within the product line which currently covers 15 ' 3741 BHP. Many of the new products utilize new technologies that our customers will be unfamiliar with. This engineer is responsible for insuring that our products and support (technical publications, application guidelines, etc.) exceed our customer's expectations:

' Responsible for the G-Drive Application Support for a portion of the Cummins product line.
' Primary liaison between Application Engineering, G-Drive Performance Development, Service and Marketing (worldwide offices).
' Key liaison between Power Gen and Product Teams/Base Engine Groups/Manufacturing Plants.
' Application Profile Development (hardware/performance/packaging)
' Assist with Product Test Plan Development (insure application data needs are satisfied)
' Technical Literature Development/Coordination (Includes any unique AEBs, installation manuals, installation drawings, eBooks, data sheets, part catalogs.)
' Key member of New Product Introduction Teams (NPIT)
' Key member of Infant Care Teams for new products
' Assist with Field Tests (minor involvement)
' Determination of customer requirements for new product configurations and new applications



' BSME or BSEE
' Working knowledge of Microsoft software required
' Familiarity with IC engines, power generation equipment,or controls is desired.
' Application/Product Development experience helpful
' Demonstrated team interaction skills.
