Applications Engineer - Gas & Moisture

CITY: Billerica STATE: Massachusetts COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Primary factory contact for technical and application support for customer and field sales force.
* Support sales force in the field with demonstrations, presentations, etc at customer sites.
* Review customer application requirements and provide equipment recommendations.
* Generate or assist in generation of quotations in response to customer inquiries.
* Define all special product requirements in support of quotation generation and order acceptance.
* Provide post sale application troubleshooting and support of existing equipment via phone and in the field.
* Resource for application and product components of training sessions for the sales force and customers.
* Communicates important market trends and customer CTQ's back to the business as input for business strategy and product development.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* BSc Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical preferred.
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills.
* Strong customer orientation.
* Proactive work ethic and energy.
* Effective team contributor and member.
* Fluent in English.
* 25% Travel.

Desired:
* Minimum 1 year experience with industrial instrumentation.
