As an Armor Development Engineer you will support ceramic based armor system engineering which will assist in meeting performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements.

This position will also work with other R&D and Armor Development personnel to develop new armor systems. The position requires hands on project planning, supervision of technicians, and oversight of ballistic experiments/tests as well as prototype and test of panel fabrication. Will also work with other R&D and Armor development personnel to develop new armor systems to expand markets.

Qualifications:

*BS. degree in engineering discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience

*Ability to obtain secret level security clearance.

*Fortran and C/C++ experience is a plus

*Experience with lightweight ceramic/composite armor technology a plus.
