Associate Director, Facilities Eng - M2

Description: This position is responsible for managing the Facilities Engineering & Support Services within the Global Operations, Facilities Management & Engineering (FM&E) organization. This position provides direction and leadership in the following areas:
Facility Engineering Support (Electrical & Mechanical)
Reliability Maintenance Engineering
Building Automation System Engineering and Support
Planning/Scheduling
Document Management
Energy Management and Utilization
The incumbent is responsible for, and will provide assistance to specific customer requests in support of equipment utilization and some business process improvements.
Manages a diverse group of engineers and support services in improvement of infrastructure systems to advance scientific productivity.
Overall budget responsibility for expense related cost center is approximately $2 million.
Headcount responsibility for colleagues, interns and contract staff as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with an advanced degree in Engineering or an MBA
Professional Designation is preferred.
Minimum 10 - 15years experience in Facility Engineering support, or related construction, process or chemical engineering activity.
Demonstrable leadership experience in progressive positions of at least manager/senior manager level.
Experience in providing engineering support for laboratory, clinical animal facilities, pilot plant and utility operations.
Documented 5 - 10 years engineering experience in a Validated environment.
Experience in commissioning and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
