Associate Project Manager

Description:
CH2M HILL's Parsippany, New Jersey office is growing and we are currently looking for an Associate Project Manager to join our Environmental team. An Engineering or Geologist educational background required. In this exciting role you will be given the opportunity to apply your 8 plus years of experience managing various projects, provide technical leadership in the environmental services area, and mentor junior staff. Experience in client and regulatory interaction, budget creation and management, and staff supervision are all required. The main focus of this position will be on the delivery/management of project teams in the field. You will be the prime contact with clients and will be responsible for overall work progress and technical performance of the projects managed. As an integral member of our team you may also be involved in our business development pursuits as it relates to scope and budget preparation as well as developing and maintaining relationships with your clients.

Relocation assistance is evaluated on a case by case basis.

Qualifications:
In addition to 8+ years of experience, successful candidates will also be able to successfully develop work plans and remedial approaches. Experience with investigation/remediation of military ranges a plus. Candidates must be team-focused and possess a solution-based work approach. This position will also be expected to serve as a senior mentor to more junior-level employees.
