Associate Transportation Engineer

Description:
CH2M HILL has a great opportunity for the right candidate to join the expanding Transportation Group in Jacksonville, FL, as an Associate Project Engineer. As an integral member of the team you will work on Florida DOT and county roadway design projects. The selected candidate will have design responsibilities including development of design criteria, alignments and profile, MOT, signage and pavement marking, pavement design, SMP and drainage elements. The ideal candidate will have the ability to coordinate between multiple disciplines and under minimal-to-general supervision, independently evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques and procedures. May conduct site investigations, and make recommendations for design alternatives. Candidates will be expected to serve as a team leader in small projects and help train entry-level employees. Some client and agency contact for routine information collection and dissemination is required. Expected to work on proposals and contribute to client relationships and business development efforts.

Qualifications:
This position requires a BS in civil engineering. A minimum of 9 years highway project experience.
