AutoCAD Draftsman/Designer

Turning Point Surveying, Inc. is an established and growing Land Surveying and Subdivision Design firm in DeMotte, Indiana and is currently accepting applicants for the following position:

 

Duties include:

Design layout of general land development, roads, drainage, grading profiles, cross sections, and topographic maps. Compiling working drawings for projects. Works under principal to develop drawings and or markups, with minimal supervision. Must have willingness for occasional field work.

 

Experience Required:Two years experience with AutoCAD 2004 and LDD Paper Space. Past experience working for a civil engineering, land development firm or surveying firm. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer applications. Experience with survey calculations and boundary analysis.Experience with title research.Grading and Improvement Plan drafting and minor design.Independent worker with desire to expand knowledge and skills.A valid driver?s license and clean driving record is required.

 

Education Required:High school or equivalent required. Technical or College Education in surveying or civil drafting/design related curriculum preferred. Some math background required, trigonometry as required for land survey calculations, math as related to slope calculations, slope staking, grades.
