Automotive Engineer - IN

Kelly Automotive Services Group is currently seeking an Automotive Engineer for a long term contract position with large automotive manufacturing facility in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area.

Required Education:
Experienced design engineer in the cockpit area (HVAC). Must have HVAC experience. Must be degreed engineer with 5 to 10 years experience.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for all elements listed in Engineer 2 with additional responsibility of directing, coordinating, and managing various and higher complexity engineering projects. Direct, coordinate, and manage various engineering projects. Responsible for design, development and testing of the more complex engineering projects. Work involves a considerable amount of creativity and initiative. Exercise high level of independent judgment

Skills Required:
* High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
* Understanding of engineering theory and principles of design
* Highly developed oral and written communications skills
* High level of interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work independently and with others
* General interest in product design, particularly automotive
* Familiarity with basic machine types
* Familiarity with all design, build and test services
* Highly proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Thorough knowledge of most advanced engineering methods, tools, and procedures
