Automotive Hardware Engineer

 

Our client, a supplier of advanced safety systems to the automotive manufacturers, has experienced a steady level of growth through continued demand for their technology. Because of this, they're looking to bring a new Automotive Hardware Engineer onto their team. In this position, you'll be responsible for the hardware design of electronic modules for multiple systems. This is a full life cycle role, so your work will also include documentation of designs (including FMEA, FTA, and stackup analysis), hardware simulation, some software development, and verification in the lab. The development of the electronic module from concept to production will be your responsibility.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have a BSEE and 3+ years of experience in automotive electronic hardware development.  You must also have some experience with FMEA and FTA tools, be good in hardware simulation (especially SPICE), and design verification.  Any experience creating embedded software using C++ and/or Assembly would be a plus.  It?s also important that you have the ability to take projects through their entire life cycle, from concept to delivery.
