Job Description:
? Lead Six Sigma projects that improve or redesign business processes that increase revenue, reduce expenses or increase productivity. Partner with senior level business sponsors, process owners and project teams to assess current processes, generate solutions and implement improvements within and across functions.
? Manage activities of one or more project teams in execution of Six Sigma process improvement, process management or process design projects. Use project management techniques to prepare and maintain project scope, schedule, resources and budget. Conduct tollgate reviews to ensure continued alignment with project sponsors' objectives.
? Work with the process owner and project teams to assess risks of solution implementation, derive cost-benefit analyses and test recommended solutions. Perform cost analysis and calculate the project net income of each project in partnership with the AXA Way Financial Analyst.
? Create metrics and toolsets for monitoring the process and maintaining control over it after implementation of improvements. Continue to coach Process Owners following implementation of improvements. Perform +3 and +12 months control reviews with the process owner to ensure continued process control and to calculate actual benefit achievement.
? Coach Green Belts in the use of Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. Assist Green Belts in any fashion necessary to achieve successful project execution.
? Support peer-to-peer learning by sharing technical or subject matter expertise on methodology, tools and techniques such as process design, Minitab or facilitation skills.
? Engage business areas in promoting AXA Way, identifying additional improvement opportunities and assisting the responsible Master Black Belt with achieving organizational change objectives for a particular business area.
? Domestic travel on an as needed basis depending upon the needs of projects being supported. Occasional international travel (typically to France) will be required to obtain advanced Six Sigma training if the need for this is part of the Black Belt's professional development plan.



Job Requirements:
? Minimum 5 to 10 years of business experience and demonstrated depth of knowledge in discipline(s) applicable to AXA Equitable's business model.
? External candidates will be Master Black Belt or Black Belt Certified by another organization. Internal candidates will need to be previously Black Belt certified.
? Ability to build trusted relationships with business customers and executive management, inspire others, promote Six Sigma, and promote accountability and customer oriented thinking.
? Proven strategic and analytical problem solving skills. Able to see the big picture and effective at helping executives understand what sort of transformation is possible in their business area.
? Demonstrated organizational change management skills: leadership, communication, team building, facilitation, influencing without authority.
? Experienced project manager. Ability to plan, baseline and deliver multiple projects as specified. Comfortable leading at least two simultaneous projects in a fast paced environment.
? Maintains highest ethical standards, demonstrates practicality, integrity and respect for others. Promotes diversity and a culture of inclusion.
? Bachelor's degree is required. Major in engineering, mathematics, operational research, business, or other technical discipline is preferable. Advanced degree, a plus.
? Intermediate to advanced software skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Minitab, Visio (or equivalent process mapping software) and Microsoft Project are expected. AXA Equitable uses Proforma's Provision process management software in addition to Visio, and Primavera Enterprise instead of Microsoft Project.
