Job Description:
HNTB's Boston office has an immediate position available for a Bridge Inspection Team Leader. Applicant must be a structural engineer with a BSCE and a minimum of 6 years experience, with a PE preferred. Candidates for this position must be familiar with the requirements for performing inspections in accordance with NBIS requirements and possess strong communication and technical writing skills. Knowledge of MHD Bridge Inspection & Rating procedures and completion of a training course based upon the 'Bridge Inspector's Training Manual' is desirable.

Responsibilities for the position include:

Planning and scheduling of inspections
Coordinating special equipment needs for bridge access
Leading field inspection teams
Preparing reports and reviewing reports prepared by others
Performing bridge rating and design calculations
Estimating work hours and expenses for inspection assignments


Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 6 years of experience.
