Business Development Engineer - Products

Geocomp Corporation specializes in using technology to help its clients manage risk related to infrastructure projects.  Since 1982, Geocomp?s experienced team of engineers and scientists have been solving some of the world?s most challenging geo-engineering problems on wide-ranging public and private sector projects.  Due to rapid growth in our products division, we are looking for a dynamic individual to help with sales, client support and technical support.

 

The key responsibilities/requirements for this position include the following:

 

?  Quoting, preparation of bid documents preparation, customer site visits, telephone contacts, and product demonstrations

?  Brochure and web site update

?  Maintain customer activity files and update mailing list

?  Keep company?s vendor registrations current and up to date

?  Help with exhibitions

?  Collects and reports information on all competitive activity.

?  Experience and familiarity with soil testing equipment lab systems

?  On-site installation and training

?  Equipment sensors calibration

?  Minimum of a bachelor degree with a solid technical background, preferably in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering.

 

The successful candidate will have superior communication skills with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
