Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager duties will consist of:
1) General business development (technical presentation and customer development) for US and Foreign military system modernization programs including ground support equipment (ATS, telecommunications, etc.)

2) Interface with customers and sales representatives to develop product requirements and close contracts.

3) Broad based, requirements analysis and system concept development.

4) Broad spectrum technical and cost proposal development related to system modernization and ATS.

5) Development of strategic business goals and processes.

6) Analysis of product markets.

7) Content development for marketing brochures, presentations, and web sites to support the sale of engineering products.

8) Supervise product marketing campaigns.

9) Business process improvement and sustainment.

Successful candidate will have:
1) Electrical Engineering degree with a minimum of 5-6 years system engineering experience related to general hardware and software development.

2) Program management or team leadership experience.

3) Ability to develop system engineering requirements, perform system engineering trade-off analyses, evaluate electronic system design concepts and approaches including test requirements and testability analysis for hardware and software.

4) Ability to perform engineering system life-cycle planning activities.

5) Ability to perform engineering cost and schedule analysis.

6) Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, emphasizing engineering proposal development and presentation of engineering proposals.

7) Ability to develop and accurately document customer/market requirements, correlate requirements to product specifications [technical, price, logistics (including maintenance and training)], and develop technical content for sales contracts.

8) Ability to develop marketing road maps and sales campaigns.

9) Ability to develop technical content for marketing brochures, presentations, and web sites to support the sale of engineering products.

10)Experience in/Ability to manage customer and marketing representative accounts including negotiation of sales, commission agreements, etc. within established guidelines.
