Business Process Analyst

SAIC currently has an opening for a Business Process Analyst in Fairfield, NJ. The Business Process Analyst will lead the analysis, evaluation and improvement of multiple contract?s processes. This entails detailed process review with subject matter experts. This will involve communications and coordination with multiple departments within our operation. The candidate will also be Responsible for the implementation of CMMI and support for ISO 9001 initiatives.

Key areas for the development of the aPLUS SCM Application include: Lead effort to prepare for organizational CMMI Level 3 Methods; Provide analysis and process design for aPLUS; Document all requirements for aPLUS; Establish/refine processes for interface to our PurchasePlace Web Portal; Lead the creation of Use Case documentation for all projects; Provide support to the aPLUS Development Staff; Develop data migration plans with the development staff; Understand and contribute to the enhancement of the aPLUS Data Model; A strong understanding of CMMI level 3 process areas; Understanding of object oriented analysis and design; Knowledge of J2EE environment; and Support for SCIO ISO 9001 initiative.

Process Re-engineering: Review Process outlines with Business Analysts; Conduct Process reviews with SMEs; Detail business rules development / discovery with Software Engineers; Layer in improvements; Obtain improvement suggestions from analysts; and Obtain improvement suggestions from SMEs.

Other duties include: Documentation; Assign and coach use case development by QA & Testing personnel; Provide guidance in the development of test plans; Review use case development for completeness and accuracy; Weekly activities report; Report CMMI progress to ETC monthly.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in related field and 7+ years of related experience.

Required Skills: Experience in leading process improvement efforts and with process modeling software.
