C/C++ Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer

Job Description:
From written specifications, the software engineer will be responsible for design, development, documentation, and testing of embedded software/firmware products.? Strong teamwork and problem solving skills are important, with effective verbal and written communications.? Experience in developing and deploying low-level software on real time operating systems for hardware-based products is highly desired.

Location: Glen Ellyn, IL.?

This is an?embedded engineering position requires the following skills and experience:

7?years developing C/C++ applications for embedded, real time operating systems (RTOS) or embedded Linux.
7?years developing low level software/firmware for 32 bit microcontrollers.
Working knowledge of build environment on a UNIX system.
Knowledge of pre-emptive multitasking environments and CPU configurations (cache, MMU, interrupt structure), boot loaders, and memory management in an embedded space.
Hands-on experience with compilers, debuggers, and emulators.
Ability to work effectively and independently in a team environment.
Experience developing graphical user interfaces (GUI), Windows and Web (JAVA) a plus.?? Lab experience with scope, signal generators, and logic analyzers a plus.

Experience with MS Windows CE a plus.
