CAD ENGINEER

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Play a key role in developing EDA design closure tools for leading edge microprocessor. The successful candidate will join an experienced team, which is responsible for design, implementation, test, and support of timing, power, and noise optimization tools. This position offers great challenging and learning opportunity working with latest deep submicron technology for large high speed digital design.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide user support on new or pre-exist tools as needed.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
* Knowledge of back-end design closure issues (timing, power, noise)
* EDA software development experience
* Strong algorithm, data structure, and problem solving skills
* Good programming skills in C/C++ and tcl script
* Good interpersonal skills and teamwork

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:
* Optimization algorithms for physical design
* Static timing
* Placement and routing
* Good presentation and documentation skills
* May consider MTS3 or Staff Engineer

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 6
MINIMUM LEVEL OF EDUCATION: BS
FIELD OF STUDY: EE, CS, or CE
