CAD Engineer / MP939

Position Description: Provide design support for layout of printed wiring application boards, module substrate layout and package assemblies for RF package design and evaluation. Responsible for all documentation associated with procurement of parts and design release of new RF products. Applicant will technically interface with RF component engineering group for procurement of boards and prototype assembly during the engineering development of new products. Applicant must be proficient in the use of net list and schematic driven CAD tools for PWB or package design, such as APD or Allegro. Applicant must have a minimum of three years experience in layout and procurement of printed wiring boards.


Qualifications:

Familiarity with computer tools for schematic entry (Orcad, Concept or ADS) is desirable. Experience in performing design rule checking and layout versus schematic checking would be valuable. Familiarity with CAM tools (e.g., CAM350) is also desirable. Familiarity with the requirements of data management systems for manufacturing would also be helpful. Required Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree specializing in electronic layout and drafting in RF fundamentals with 2-4 years of hands on work experience in RF layout would be preferred.
