CAD Engineer Senior

Job Description:Cypress semiconductor in San Jose is looking for Design Technology engineers to advance the state of design in Simulation and Verification (logic and physical). An ideal candidate will be familiar and will have hands on experience in simulation and verification, version control software, physical verification - DRC, LVS, etc. The duties will also include managing the EDA tool installation and licenses, solve technical issues on various EDA tools, and work with EDA vendors to resolve tool or methodology issues as they arise. The job will provide plenty of oppurtunities to improve design methodology and tool usage. A small amount of travel may be required to train engineers world wide on a as needed basis. Job Specific Requirements: An ideal candidate will have hands on experience in schematic design, netlisting, layout verification, circuit and logic simulators, physical verification. Knoweldge and experience in of verilogA, verilogAMS and systemC will be a definate plus. Minimum Education & Work Experience:An Engineering degree Bachelor or higher with at least 1 year of experience is preferred.
