IMMEDIATE OPENING for a CAD Manager!

 

This is a very well known and respected Structural Engineering firm with a 20 year history of excellence. Immediate need for a Structural CAD Drafter with experience with construction documents of residential and commercial design plans. Work will involve mostly residential, commercial, and light industrial projects.

 

Description:

 

Responsibilities will include lay out, design and drafting of commercial and residential and commercial projects. Candidates will be working on new and retrofitted construction. Applicants must have a minimum of 4+ years of experience being a CAD Supervisor / Manager. Should be knowledgeable with building construction and be able to manage a team of CAD Drafters and collaborate with Project Managers. This position may require working with Engineers, Architects and contractors as well as working independently.

 

Requirements:

 Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a CAD Manager for an A/E firm  Must have experience with residential and / or commercial projectUnderstanding of layout plans and details for single/multi family and commercial projectsExperience with CAD tools (either AutoCAD or SAP)  B.S. in Structural Engineering is a plus EIT certification is also a plus  Excellent communication skills ? written and verbal
