CAE Analyst

This position provides CAE System support by analyzing and correlating automotive interior parts and assemblies with CAE tools. 

 

 

Primary Duties:

? Lead CAE Projects

? Conduct crash, static and dynamic FE analyses for automotive interior systems and sub systems.

? Prepare and present reports with logical engineering conclusions to the customer.

? Design and optimize systems for safety requirements with numerical simulation.

? Close teamwork and coordination with internal and external customers and testing departments.

? Work in conjunction with CAE departments globally.

 

 

Requirements for Positions:

? Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with advanced knowledge of finite element analysis plus a detailed understanding of automotive crashworthiness simulation requirements, countermeasures and methods.(Minimum of 3 years experience in full car FMVSS201, FMVSS201U and Dyna-Madymo Coupling (FMVSS 208).

? Skills in FEA applications LS- Dyna (Explicit and Implicit), Madymo, Nastran, Altair Hyperworks, Easicrash-Dyna and Easicrash-Madymo

? Unix skills

? Previous automotive experience in simulations involving Instrument Panels, Overhead systems,  trims and doors is a must.

? Ability to work independently in a cross functional team environment

? Ability to work within tight deadlines.

? Good communication skills for interfacing with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing and customers both verbal or written.

? Good project management skills.
