Department Description: Development of Windows based CDMA smartphones.
Responsibilities/Expectations: Candidates are responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing and trouble shooting baseband software on Qualcomm Mobile Station Modems (MSMs).
Knowledge Skills: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with 3+ years of related work experience. C/C++ Programming, Real-Time Embedded Software Development. Knowledge of the ARM architecture. Debugging skills including JTAG, ETM, QXDM. Board Support Package Development including bootloader and device drivers (e.g. NAND Flash, USB, SPI) Clearcase skills including element merging, version tree analysis, and command line scripting. Protocol Stack Knowledge including CDMA2000 1X and EVDO. Familiarity with Qualcomm Mobile Station Modem (MSM) software architecture would be a plus.
