CEMS Engineer

The successful candidates will be involved in the engineering, design, upgrade and installation of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and Mercury monitoring systems for the AEP Generation Fleet.

Experience Requirements

Experience with Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems

Special Qualifications (Training, Skills ETC.)

BSME, BSEE, or BSChE. Effective troubleshooting skills are a must. Positions require interpersonal skills to facilitate interface with Plant and contractor personnel for equipment maintenance and installation. Experience with flue gas analyzer systems, ultra-soinc flow monitors and Environmental Systems Corporation data acquisition systems is a plus. Ability to climb ladders for access to monitoring equipment. Ablity to investigate equipment mounted above open grating at elevations over 800 feet. Proficient in the use of computers ? Internet, word processing, spreadsheets.

Work Hours / Travel Requirements

40 hours/week Domestic travel up to 30% annually. Overtime required in association with travel and project requirements
