COASTAL ENGINEER

SR. PROJECT ENGINEER Job Title: Principal coastal engineer

for Maritime business group

Location:New York or Tampa (whichever suits the candidate)

Principal duties:Leadership of local NY coastal team.
Management of projects for US coastal group including major port and coastal development projects.

Business development, resource management and project workload.

Qualifications: MSc in coastal engineering or similar degree.
Credibility in hydrodynamic modelling community.
Experience with detailed design of coastal structures and beaches.
PE license for NY state and construction management experience.

Experience: 10 years plus. Understanding of coastal processes and modelling studies including sediment

processes

Experience of design in shoreline management/control structures, marina and breakwaters.

High profile and good people skills.
Able to deal with conflicting pressure of business development and project portfolio.
Excellent writing skills, team player, outstanding communication skills.
