  Control Engineer

  Responsibilities and duties:

 

? Design, develop, and supervise electrical control systems, equipment

and machinery

 

? Installation and technical support of PLC hardware and software.   Programmable knowledge in PLC (Siemens preferred.) 

? Assist with needs assessment for computer and software requirements in

all areas of the facility.

 

? Assist with PLC and PC training as required.

 

Specific function related duties:

 Install, configure and maintain organization?s network.  Design and support server system and supporting hardware Designs, codes, tests and debugs simple programs.  Maintains and documents programs.  Assists higher level programmer/analyst/engineer with design work.  Follows established methods and procedures. Responds to disruptions of production systems in a timely and  appropriate manner. Helps provide solutions in making technical logic meet the needsof the users.

 Qualifications

 Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and  procedures related to computer technology. Bachelor degree in electrical engineering. Programmable knowledge in Siemens software. Minimum 5 years experience  electrical engineering in a  manufacturing environment.
