We are seeking a COST ENGINEER / ESTIMATOR MANAGER with 10+ years of technical estimating experience in one of the following areas; architecture, electrical, mechanical or plumbing. Construction industry experience is preferred. A Bachelors Degree in an Engineering discipline is required. Must possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to make confident decisions.

Candidate must be residing in NY Metro area and have knowledge of local construction practice in NY area.
Candidate will work closely with a range of technical professionals (designers, consultants, contractors) and managerial staff to coordinate and establish detailed cost estimates. Prepare and/or ensure the preparation of detailed cost estimates for all phases of design and/or construction. Supervise the development of quantity surveys and cost evaluations relating to design documents, contract drawings, specifications or contract changes. Participate in cost negotiations.

Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, is required. PowerPoint is perferred. Knowledge of HCSS is preferred. EEO
