Job Responsibilities: 

Support CPLD operations by performing the following duties:

- Interface with assembly / test vendors, as well as other Xilinx groups, to solve production, yield, and quality issues

- Perform failure analysis on test or reliability failures as well as customer RMAs

- Support new product (or product update) qualifications, including driving reliability testing and analyzing characterization data, as well as implementing product cost reductions and yield improvements

- Support new test program releases

 

Job Qualifications:

BS EE or similar.

Minimum 6 years experience in a semiconductor engineering role in a high volume production environment, preferably with non-volatile memory products. 

Experience with programmable logic is a plus.

Experience with Automotive (TS16949) is desired.

Experience with electrical and physical failure analysis including:

- Ability to understand basic circuit layout and schematics

- Basic knowledge of semiconductor processing

- Experience with FA techniques (FIB, SEM, hot spot emissions)

- Bench and microprobing experience

Standard computer skills including Unix, Windows, MS Office, and scripting languages

Experience with Credence LT and Agilent Versatest Tester platforms is desirable

This position can be filled in Albuquerque or San Jose
