Job Description:

Responsible for designing, developing and implementing cost-effective processes and procedures to industry standards associated with the calibration, test and troubleshooting of division controlled assets.

Specify calibration setups, write test and diagnostic software, and design fixtures that improve the efficiency of the calibration process.

Document, analyze, and resolve calibration issues and problems.

Establish calibration target times (standards) to improve planning and equipment throughput.

Determine the calibration requirements for new test assets.

Define Lab standards required to perform calibrations.

Work with the equipment user community to recommend alternative equipment to reduce capital division expenditures.

 

Qualifications:

BS degree in engineering field required with a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience.

 

Experience:

Experience to include any of the following: Calibration and Metrology, and familiarity with Associated ISO, Military and NIST standards.

Experience to include any of the following: Engineering test support, Engineering data acquisition and analysis, Construction and repair of electronic equipment, engineering measurements.

Must have computer skills including MS Windows and office products.

Must be a team player, self-starter, pro-active, customer oriented.

Must be able to complete assignments with a minimum of time, equipment and effort.
