Join our team as the Chemicals Plant Laboratory Manager at our facility in Brownsville, TN.

 

In this role you will be responsible for organizing, overseeing and implementing the plant laboratory in all activities of production, quality control, raw material qualification and control, sample manufacturing and quality program.  Oversee performance and technical issues for Lab Technicians and ChemistDevelop competitive approaches to new formulas Evaluate customer complaints and recommend corrective actionProvide technical support, advice and direction to customersIdentify training and equipment needs for the Lab and TechniciansResponsible for timely resolution on equipment or instruments in need of repairDevelop new and improved analytical proceduresProvide written technical reports to document resultsOther responsibilities as assigned by the Production or Plant Manager.

 

RequirementsStrong communication skills both written and verbalAbove average computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.  Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field of studyMinimum 5 years experience in a chemical laboratory or other technology environment experience plus 1 year managerial experience

 

Limited travel required.
