Chief Mechanical Engineer

Global Contract Manufacturing, located in downtown Chicago, is looking for a Chief Mechanical Engineer. GCM is an exciting, rapidly growing contract manufacturing firm specializing in the design, sourcing, and manufacturing of consumer products.

The Chief Mechanical Engineer will plan and direct the engineering and design department; coordinate manufacturing processes in industrial plants by performing the following duties:

 Performs manufacturability analysis of all proprietary products.
 Oversee the Design & redesign.
 Develops, evaluates and improves manufacturing methods.
 Maintains tooling inventories markings and revisions
 Issuing the latest engineering change, drawing and specifications to suppliers and customers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelors Degree in Engineering
? 5-10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
? Proficient in 3-D design programs such as Solidworks and Pro-E.
? Proficient in Microsoft Office.
? Must be able to multi-task and manage several different requests at on time.
? Ability to speak Mandarin.
? And be able to travel up to 15%
