Civil Design Coordinator

Fluor Corporation is one of the world's largest, publicly-owned engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance service organizations.  We have an immediate need for Design Coordinator, in Salem OR.

Job Description:

 

The position will be to serve in a program management & design oversight capacity on this multi bridge replacement program in the state of Oregon. The program is estimated to last 8-10 years and over 350 bridges will be upgraded.

 

The primary responsibility of the Design Coordinator is to serve as the owner?s representative providing design oversight on projects included in this major multi bridge replacement program in the state of Oregon. Will review project budgets, schedules, and scopes. Performs complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of standard design/build techniques and procedures. May supervise small staff of professionals and technicians.

Requirements:

 

BS degree in Civil Engineering

MS degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) 

10+ years of design project management experience

Valid P.E. license (must be able to obtain State of Oregon P.E. license)

 

Basic MS Word and Excel required.
