Job Description:
Serves as a Project Design Engineer under the direction of the Project Manager. Serves as primary client contact for multiple PS&E. Responsible for developing plans, specifications, and estimates on a variety of transportation projects. Performs and checks calculations, develops alternatives and conceptual plans. Oversees technical highway design and provides direction and instruction to junior engineers and CAD designers. Attends meetings, writes documentation and correspondence. Takes responsibility to see that work is complete, accurate, and on schedule. Conducts field inspections and investigations. Organizes and schedules specific tasks and assignments. Assists in the marketing and project pursuit efforts of the company.


Job Qualifications:
Utah P.E. or other P.E. with reciprocity, Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus 6 years of experience. Experience with UDOT is preferred. Strong knowledge of Highway and Road design. InRoads and Microstation experience. Strong communication and written skills.
