Civil Engineer

The Civil Engineer performs hands-on design engineering for drainage and detention, flood control, water, wastewater and roadway projects for city and county clients.  Duties include preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and preparation of bid documents.  Senior engineers may also fill a Project Engineer role, providing technical supervision to a project team of engineers and designers.

The Civil Engineer must have demonstrated capabilities to work as part of an interdisciplinary team, to maintain positive interface with our clients, and to meet or exceed safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets.

 

Minimum requirements include:

 

?  Bachelor?s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience

?  5 - 10 years relevant industry experience

?  Familiarity with Microstation, Geopak, and TxDOT requirements.

 

P.E. or E.I.T. Certification is desired
