Civil Engineer - EIT

The SI Group (SIG), a growing national environmental consulting & engineering firm, is seeking an E.I.T. for our Spokane, WA office. SIG enjoys a diverse array of local and national clients in the real estate, insurance, legal and industrial sectors, as well as a growing list of state, federal and local government clients and seeks a similar level of expertise and experience amongst its staff.

 

Description:

?  Develop proposals for clients.

?  Prepare detailed work plans, cost estimates and schedules for projects.

?  Project oversight and budget tracking of projects.

?  Monitor and control project schedules, budgets and technical milestones.

?  Maintain regular dialogue with field staff, subcontractors, material suppliers, regulators and clients.

?  Manage client relations and business development activities.

 

Requirements:

?  Integrity and strong work ethic.

?  Demonstrated maturity and judgment.

?  Minimum of 4 yr degree in civil engineering.

?  E.I.T. certification required.

?  Proficient with CAD.

?  Ability to self-manage multiple concurrent projects and meet project deadlines.

?  Commitment to building customer relationships and satisfaction.

?  Ability to communicate effectively with The SIG managers, clients, and regulators.

?  Ability to travel 30% of the time.

?  Strong eye for detail.

?  Team player and flexible.

?  Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

?  Efficient with Adobe, Excel, and Word.
