Civil Engineering Project Engineer

Our portfolio of services includes civil engineering, land planning, landscape architecture, construction management and surveying.  In business since 1982, Jones & Boyd has offices in Dallas and Ft. Worth with over 100 employees. 

 

Currently, we are recruiting for Project Engineers in our Dallas and Ft. Worth offices. Successful candidates will be part of a team that is engineering land development projects including single family and multi-family residential subdivisions, as well as commercial projects.  Jones & Boyd values of loyalty, integrity, dedication, reliability, and quality will be the metrics for all candidates.

 

Requirements

 

?  B.S. in Civil Engineering

?  Registered Professional Engineer (Civil) or EIT

?  Three to four years? experience in civil engineering site work design for single-family projects.  Experience in commercial/industrial projects a plus.

?  Experienced with site drainage, paving, grading, utilities, and storm water

?  Proficient in AutoCAD and LDD

?  Team player who is detail-oriented, has strong time management skills, possesses a service attitude, and is committed to professional development

 

Responsibilities

 

?  Report and provide project engineering support to the Project Manager

?  Manage the production of grading, drainage, water, and sanitary sewer design

?  Coordinate with multidiscipline teams and governing agencies to meet project objectives

?  Coordinate and schedule work to meet project goals on time and to budget

 

Compensation
