Civil Engineering Technician

Jones & Boyd, Inc. has immediate openings for a Civil Engineering Technician in its Ft. Worth office. Successful candidates will be part of a team that is engineering land development projects including single family and multi-family residential subdivisions, as well as commercial projects.

 

Requirements

 

?  3+ years experience

?  Technical certification in computer drafting or related field preferred

?  Proficient in AutoCAD and LDD

?  Ability to work positively and effectively with all levels of staff

?  Strong time management and organizational skills

 

 

Responsibilities

 

?  Designing/drafting grading, paving, drainage and utility plans

?  Specialization in advanced design software ? Land Desktop and/or Civil Series

?  Coordinating and scheduling work to meet project goals on time and to budget

?  Liaise and coordinate with engineering design staff and other disciplines to meet project objectives

 

Compensation

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.  Excellent benefits package and bonus program.
