The qualified candidate possesses a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, has a Wisconsin PE (or will have within six months) and has at least six years of related engineering experience.  Experience in some of the following areas desirable, but not required:  AutoCAD, GIS, modeling (water, sewer and stormwater) and construction observation/administration.  Strong written and verbal communication skills required.  Project management and business development experience preferred.  Project financial experience and staff supervision experience not required, but beneficial.

 

The successful candidate:

 

* Assists in acquiring municipal and private civil engineering projects 

* Manages projects that involve the design of municipal and civil engineering projects including sanitary
sewers, water distribution systems, commercial site development, storm water systems, streets and
other public infrastructure

* Gathers and analyzes data on private, municipal and commercial projects and prepares reports
* Works with both public and private clients for various municipal and site development projects.


Candidates with more experience have the opportunity to manage staff, coordinate business development, and handle project financials.
