Define the Weekly consumption plan



Collect from demand planners the production plan for all products using the commodity  


forecast


Forward weekly supply forecasts to Strategic Suppliers


Challenge forecast information to ensure  the picture is as accurate as possible


Identify plan variations for the commodity.


Define flexibility needs with demand planners.


Work with Commodity Manager to determine the TAM share for each supplier.


Calculate the Material Requirement plan for each supplier


Define Inventory Objectives


Communicate Consumption plan and inventory objectives to Suppliers


Support the Co-commit process with the necessary supply actions, analysis and


deliverables


Rebates



Reconcile supplier shipments to determine rebate payments


Interface and collaborate with Finance on invoicing status and execution


Identify, communicate and provide contingency plans for material constraints



Get vendors material commitment


Check material availability


Collaborate with Commodity Manager on ways to improve supply


Communicate constraints to Business teams


New Product Introduction


Collaborate with NPI Readiness Managers on new product attach rates


Help define commodity road-map


Maintain knowledge of latest qualification schedules



Education & Experience


Bachelors Degree + 2 years experience
