Compliance Engineer, regulatory, EMC, Ft Collins

Adecco Technical is looking for an experienced Compliance Engineer for a high-tech manufacturing facility in Fort Collins, Colorado that performs both Safety and EMC evaluations in-house. This is a long term contract position with the possibility to go permanent.

Requirements:
1. 5 to 7 years of experience performing Product Safety and EMC evaluations of a variety of electrical products during Engineering design and Manufacturing phases.
2. Ideal candidate will be experienced with both Product Safety and EMC and familiar with EN 61010-1, EN 60950,UL 1012, EN 50178, EN 55011, and EN 61000-6-2.
3. Specific experience with High Power systems strongly desired. Familiarity with SEMI guidelines is helpful.

Position Summary:
Perform typical Compliance Engineering functions including:
? Day-to-day working along with product development teams to provide early information and guidance
? Performing early evaluations of designs for compliance with Safety and EMC requirements
? Directing/performing all necessary laboratory tests (EMC and Safety)
? Writing test reports
? Completing "check-list" for agency file submission
? Compile and submit files to agency for acceptance and approval
? Attending design reviews, both formal and informal
? Formal presentation of findings vs. requirements at toll-gate reviews
? Reviewing ECOs of new and legacy products for continued compliance
? Oversee Declarations of Conformity

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of Product Safety/regulatory, and/or EMC testing and mitigation experience to standards by UL, CSA, IEC, CISPR and FCC.

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
