Component Level Test Technician
This is a great opportunity to work for an internationally recognized company located in the Portland, Oregon area.

Job Title Component Level Test Technician (No Subcontracting, Corp-to-Corp or Visa Sponsorships available for this opportunity)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: up to 18 months
Location: Beaverton, OR
Resources Required: 1
Pay Rate Range: $18-20/hr W2 all-inclusive (no expenses) dependent on relevant experience.
Overview:
Ability to work well in a team environment, STRONG problem solving skills, able to work with computer interfaces, able to learn quickly and willing to work overtime as needed. Doing testing and troubleshooting to component level. Logic Analyzer experience is required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Provide technician support to include: problem analysis, troubleshooting, repairing to the component level; with knowledge and use of test equipment. Meet customer requirements for product output, repair for customer service, long-term support and continuous improvement. Work with production personnel to resolve line problems. Write test and assembly procedures, as well as build test fixtures. Troubleshoot new designs, test procedures, prototyping, and environmental and specification testing. Work with and read schematics. Provide support to other functional organizations as required.
Candidate must have a proven ability to repair to the component level, analyze and decipher customer problems, troubleshoot/repair circuit board/products that use digital, analog, RF, Optical, video, and microwave technologies. Must have working knowledge of test and repair production and service instruments. Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and shift priorities. Must have strong work ethic and must be able to use resources and innovation to meet department goals. Must be able to build/maintain positive working relationships and be willing to work overtime if needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and E-mail desired.
Education: 2 year electronics degree preferred.

This is a contract position requires the work to be performed in a normal 40 hour workweek Mon ? Fri during standard business hours unless otherwise stated. You must be a very strong technical match to be considered.
