Job description

Are you a talented and highly motivated lean guru?  Do you live and breathe Kaizen, 5-S, and continuous improvement?  On behalf of our client we are searching for an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our successful client located in beautiful western South Carolina.  If you have strong lean experience, have led continuous improvement and process improvement events, and are looking to join a top company, apply today!  The successful applicant will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and will work with engineers and the maintenance department to complete projects on a timely basis.  The applicant will work as a change agent implementing and driving lean & change in the organization. 

 

Requirements

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must have the following:

 

?  A BS Degree in an Engineering field is required!  A BSIE Degree is preferred

?  3 + years of experience in a manufacturing facility

?  Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is a MUST!

?  Strong experience with and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5-S, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, TPM, Kanban and other lean methodologies is required

?  Experience leading Lean events & process improvement projects
